Hi I'm Steve

I love to hike, camp, and ski. I'm an astrophysicist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love Astrophysics. I'm working on getting my bachelor's degree and I plan on eventually getting my PhD so I can become a professor and do research. I love to teach physics and help other people become as passionate about it as I am. When I'm not at work I like to go hiking, go camping, and spend time with my wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a Mormon my entire life. I love the way the gospel makes me feel and that it provides direction and purpose in my life. I served as a full time missionary for two years in Pennsylvania. Serving the people of Pennsylvania helped me to realize why the gospel is so important for each and every one of us. While I was there I met many different types of people. All of them had their own problems, just like anybody else. The great thing about having the church as an important part of my life it that it teaches me how to cope with my problems the way God would want me to. I was glad I had the opportunity to share that message with others and to show them how the gospel could do the same for them. I have been married now for two years. My wife and I love each other very much and the gospel is an extremely important part of our lives. We also have a son. Because we are faithful members of the church we have been promised that we can not only be together in our mortal lives here on earth, but we can also be together, with our children, in the life to come. I'm so grateful for modern prophets that can teach us about God's will and provide us with these important and lasting blessings.

How I live my faith

Currently I serve in the congregation that I attend by helping other people find work that have found a hard time doing so. This gives me an opportunity each week to share with others my conviction of the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm glad I am able to do this because it helps me become more like Christ and also strengthens my witness that the Savior lives and loves each of us.
