Hi I'm Kenra.

I'm an amateur photographer. I'm a college student. I'm a certified nurses's aide. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student, preparing myself to apply for a nursing program. I am a daughter and sister in loving and fun family. I play the flute and piano. I love taking photographs and have won several contests. I love anything outdoors: rock climbing, hiking, repelling, river rafting, camping. Writing in my blog, reading, listening to music and watching TV shows are things I like to do in my down time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family but as I entered my teenage years I pushed away the teachings of the Church. As time went on I made a lot of mistakes and, as a result, felt empty. Eventually, I hit rock bottom and knew that I needed something more. I decided to give the Church a second chance. That was probably the best decision I've made in my life. The Savior hadn't gone anywhere, it was me that strayed. Once I desired to come back to His fold he was there ready to receive me with open arms. I'm so glad that as I gave the Church a second chance, I was given one in return. Now I have a sense of purpose, a source of strength and inspiration and more happiness that I could've obtained through any other source.

How I live my faith

I do the simple things. I go to church every Sunday. I teach Sunday School. I make special visits to two women each month to bring them an uplifting message. I pray and study the word of God daily. Ultimately, I try to improve the lives of others because it's what Christ's life mission was.
