Hi I'm Adam

I grew up in western NY, I'm serving as a missionary in the Nevada Las Vegas Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a missionary. I attended college for a year and will return when my mission is over to study Physics. I love any kind of sports, I'm always up for a pick-up game, I also love reading, running, watching movies and just being with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have recieved a witness for myself that this is the truth I need to be living. I've felt the love my Father in Heaven has for me and the blessing of His Son's Atonement. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through the things I strive to do every day. I try to obey all of God's commandments and read my scriptures and pray daily, and attend church every week. To me living the faith is trying to become what I believe every day of my life. Be the person the scriptures teach me to be. It's great to have the family environment of the church. It's an opportunity to receive help and comfort and also to give that to others. I think that's what living faith is all about. Serving in the church and community is a way for us to show our love for the Savior. Right now serving as a missionary I have felt my faith grow tremendously in my Savior. I know He truly paid the price for all our sins and know that needs to have a major role in my daily life. I try to truly follow His example and allow His grace to give me the strength i need every day of my life.

What is faith?

Faith starts as a belief that needs to be centered on our Savior Jesus Christ. But true faith is when we take that belief and let it motivate us to be an active follower of Him and His teachings. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about family?

Families are the most important unit in eternity and God's plan. I know my family means everything to me because of the support and strength they give me. Families should be a place we learn about God and how to come closer to Him by following the example of His Son, Jesus Christ. The Family and home should also be a refuge from the cares and trials of the world. As we focus on Christ as a family we can have a spirit of peace and love that will bless us all. Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

We believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and a knowledge of His divinity needs to be shared with all the world. We believe that we have been blessed greatly by what we know and what our Savior is done for us, and I personally feel that its a expression of our gratitude for Him to share His message with the world.
