Hi I'm Jeffrey Smith

I grew up in Port Pirie, South Australia. My family is everything to me. I am a Mormon.

About Me

i am a father of five children and have two grandchildren. I manage my own company, and live in the lovely Adelaide hills, South Australia. I love to write stories and would consider myself a people person.. I served a two year mission in England for the church in 1980-1982, and there really learnt about giving service. Both older children are married to great sweethearts and we love them heaps Only by living the gospel 24/7 will you really feel the peace and happiness that the gospel brings. For me my mornings start with private study of the scriptures and personal prayer. I feel if I start my day properly and invite Heaven's help to guide me through my day, I feel more capable in facing the challenges of the day. I currently serve as a Priesthood leader and have watched good people embrace the gospel and become happy.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the church and having the priviledge to have an eternal family is paramount. I have studied well the teachings of this church along with other churches. I have seen the the fruits of this church and know that the doctrines and principles taught are true. It gives me and my family direction and my life purpose. In reading the Book of Mormon for the first time when I was about 18yrs, the spirit that i felt confirmed that this book is the word of God. The gospel is simple and requires only an honest effort to be happy.

How I live my faith

Only by living the gospel 24/7 will you really feel the peace and happiness that the gospel brings. For me my mornings start with private study of the scriptures and personal prayer. I feel if I start my day properly and invite Heaven's help to guide me through my day, I feel more capable in facing the challenges of the day. I cuurently serve as the Branch President for our congregation in Murray Bridge and have watched good people embrace the gospel and become happy.
