Hi I'm Bryan Wesley

I'm a mechanic. I'm happy. I love sports. I like doing new things. I love life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I feel like I have had a very unique life. I have delved into a lot of different things. I have been scuba diving, rock-climbing, to Europe, in numerous choirs, a mechanic, a marketing specialist, used-car salesman, Kirby vaccuum salesman, in band (French Horn), a missionary (currently serving in Texas McAllen Mission), and in a NASCAR going plus or minus 185 mph. I am an Eagle Scout. I am one of 7 children of a loving mom and dad. I have played almost every sport you can think of that is offered at a public school and many that are not. I am simple and complex. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I found out for myself that God wants me to be Mormon. This is His church. Yes, I was raised in the church since birth, but I still went through a time when I had to find the truth for myself. I made too many choices that I am not proud of. I had to choose what I really wanted. I wanted to be with my God, my Father in Heaven. I found the way to do that. It wasn't because someone else told me to. I made the choice. It was the best decision I could have ever made.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church, studying the scriptures, and praying. The other main way I live my faith is by sharing it with others. I am currently a Full-Time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I live my faith by taking every assignment given to me and completing it beyond what is expected. I live my faith not by seeing...but by feeling and knowing.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Bryan Wesley
I know that we do not worship Joseph Smith. But it truly depends on your definition of worship. We do not pray to him. We praise him for the role he played in bringing truth that was lost back to the earth. We need what he was commanded by God to bring forth. But we do not put him even remotely close to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ or our Father in Heaven. We only see him as someone who opened the door to lost teachings and truth. Show more Show less
