Hi I'm Paul.

I love cars, I love listening to metal, I have a college degree, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and I am currently serving as a missionary for the Church in the Nevada Las Vegas West mission English-speaking. I graduated with a BA in Economics. I plan on going to law school when I get back from my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

My mom met the missionaries and was baptized when I was about 3 years old. We then moved from Romania (where I was born) to Provo, Utah, so that my mom could attend BYU. Because of this, I grew up in the Church and my mom and I have stayed good members.

How I live my faith

Well...I'm on a mission, so right now my whole life is about faith. I am sacrificing these next two years of my life because the message I am spreading has brought me a tremendous amount of joy. I firmly believe in everything that I am teaching the good people of Nevada, and I like to think that my sacrifice testifies of that.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Just like the Bible, the Book of Mormon was written by a number of ancient prophets and others of interest, only these guys were in the Americas instead of the Middle East. It was all compiled by a prophet named Moroni, whose father, Mormon, is the inspiration for the title of the Book of Mormon. When Moroni was done compiling, he hid up the plates these things were written on. About 1400 years later, he showed up as an angel to Joseph Smith and helped him find the plates. Then Joseph used the power and authority of God to translate the plates into what we now call the Book of Mormon.  Show more Show less
