Hi I'm Chris

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Utah, now live in Vermont

About Me

I am 26, Married, One Daughter, she is 6. We live in Vermont

Why I am a Mormon

When I was born, my family were members. I was born into the church. growing up I had the example of those around me to teach me and show me the way an LDS person should live. Now, that I am on my own, I have my own family, I have to rely on the teachings that I received as a child and as a youth. The principles i was taught has led me in a direction that I never would have had otherwise. I feel like I owe it to Father, and Jesus Christ, for all they sacrificed, to live my life the best I can in accordance with their Commandments! after all, thats all they ask.

How I live my faith

Having family home evening, reading the scriptures, and having family prayer every day helps strenghen us as a family. I most recently served as Ward Mission Leader, so I work quite a bit with the full time missionaries. I LOVE IT!

Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

Sacred, not Secret.. We hold the things that go on in temples so sacred, we choose not to divulge them. Show more Show less

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

Say you are driving along in your car, and a pizza delivery driver puts a light on his car and attempts to pull you over. He dosnt have the authority to do so, that is why we have police officers. only the police officer has the authority to pull you over. same goes for having the authority to baptize. without the proper authority, its not authorized in heaven. Men who hold the Aaronic priesthood and who are at least a priest in that preisthood, or those who hold the Melchezidek priesthood are authorized to baptize. Show more Show less
