Hi I'm Jeron

Im an average guy and an outdoor finatic. I'm a mormon

About Me

I am 20 years old. I have lived in Puerto Rico half of my life and then moved to Utah for the other half. My favorite things to do are: To go biking, swimming, play soccer, and all sports really. i love outdoor things like camping, hiking, fishing, and all sorts of stuff. i am going to college in utah and plan on getting a bachelors degree...still not sure the major yet. i love to have fun spending time with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know that I can live with my family and with god for all eternity. 3 years ago i was very confused about what happens when we die and I wanted to know what happens I looked everywhere to know what will happen but then through much searching, I was lead to pray and ask god if these things are true. and i prayed and I felt the most amazing thing in my life I felt as if everything went from stressful to being completely calm and peaceful and through my feelings the Holy Ghost testified to me that these things are true. I know that when we die we can be with Heavenly Father and all our familes again. Ever since that experience I have been able to experience all the blessings. Having safety, guidance, and all altogether being happy. I know that he watches over everyone of us and loves and cares for each and everyone of his heavenly children. I know he lives.

How I live my faith

I try as hard as I can to keep the commandments of God. Even though at times it feels impossible. Something that has always helped me is something called the Holy Ghost. This really helps me follow gods path. I also try as hard as i can to help others to get and stay on the path. I want all to return to him because i care for all my heavenly brothers and sisters here on earth. Helping others really help me as well to keep following him.

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Jeron
Visitors are always welcome. At church they seperate into different classes, depending on ages, they do this so that all will be able to learn at their rate children seperated to learn at their rate, teenagers at another rate and adults at another rate. The first hour is where we take the Sacrament(the bread and water) and listen to a couple speakers chosen by the members. We will sing songs and say prayers. Everyone there is super nice and loving. It feels so amazing and peaceful all of my weekly stress and hardships leave which leads me in tranquility. you would love it. Show more Show less

What blessings can we receive through the gift of the Holy Ghost?

Jeron
The blessings that god can give us through the Holy Ghost are inumerable. Some that i have seen are to have more knowlegde of the Saviour, more understanding in school, church and home with others. More peace and happiness. When God sees you trying to follow him he helps you and blesses you for following him. Show more Show less
