Hi I'm Emily

I'm about as ordinary as they come, but I'm as extraordinary as they get. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a family girl. I have 4 older brothers and 1 older sister. I am also the Aunt of 11 little rascals! And I love it. I've completed two years of University studying one of the most interesting subjects, HISTORY! I took a short break to serve for a year and a half as a volunteer missionary for this church in England. Now I am back in home and wondering what to do with my life, but I have faith that as I pray and search for where I need to be in life, Heavenly Father will help me find where I am supposed to be! I really am the type of person that just likes to try new things. There are so many things to experience in life and I only have so long to do all that I can! So whether it be Strawberry flavoured Oreos, making crazy combinations of Ramen or Wakeboarding, Fencing, or Pottery, I am up for it! And I usually find myself loving it as I do it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I choose to be. Every time I pray God answers my prayers and this has led me to choose to live this faith. I was raised in the faith, but found that as I grew older and I began to question my beliefs and even to ask if God was really there. He answered my prayers and now I know that He really is there. That is comforting because I still go to Him all the time to look for answers and He continues to answer. I know that God loves all of His children. I know that through Jesus Christ, He has provided a way for all of us to return to Him and live in happiness with our families. I know that Heavenly Father is literally our Father, and that is one of the reasons I want to return to Him. Because I love Him, and I feel happy as I try to be near Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day just by being alive. My faith is such a way of life that I couldn't seperate it from me if I tried. I start my days off with a prayer and end with one too, so all the inbetween is me just trying my best to be my best and help others around me. Loving others and improving yourself are things that are expressly taught by Jesus Christ and I am striving to live by these teachings in everything I do. I am currently serving a mission for my church in England and I am loving sharing about what I believe and what gives me hope with everyone I meet! I love being able to measure almost everything I do by the question of "What would Jesus do?" I try to think and act as Jesus Christ would, and I find that as I do, love is the main feeling that I get as I interact with everyone around me.
