Hi I'm Tyler

Born and raised in Utah, I love the outdoors and I love the Gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently serving a mission in Philadelphia, PA. I love sports mainly football and basketball, but most of all I just love being in the outdoors mountain biking wherever. I love going camping and sleeping out under the stars. In the winter I love to go skiing, if I could go everyday I would! I love to do just about anything that won't get me into trouble. I'm very laid back, but when it comes to working I get the job done.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in Utah but that isn't necessarily why I am LDS. I love the peace and joy I feel when I know that I am doing the things that the Lord would have me do. Even when it may not seem like the popular or easy thing to do it is always worth it in the end. Heavenly Father loves us and wants what's best for us. And I have learned many times that when we do what our Father in Heaven has commanded us He will bless us. And I just love that feeling of peace that no matter what, the Lord is there for us, and He will help us through anything if we are living worthy and willing to obey Him.

How I live my faith

I am currently living my faith in this church by serving our Father in Heaven for the next two years in the Philadelphia, PA mission. I am going out everyday giving my all to this work so that I can help invite others to come unto Christ and help them find and enjoy the same happiness that I have today. By teaching everyday and talking to everyone I see it has helped build my faith in the Lord knowing that he is there strengthening me to know what to say in the moments I need to say it. I have a goal in life to strive to live this gospel and share it with as many people as I can and to help them gain there own personal testimonies and build there own faith in Jesus Christ.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

God has established families here on earth so that we can learn and grow and be happy. It is said that the home should be a place of shelter but most importantly learning and feeling the love that the gospel can bring to us. Through the teachings of Jesus Christ we can strengthen our teachings in our families and also strengthen our relationships with family members. When I am with my family I feel loved and not alone, they always put a smile on my face. That is why a family is so important. Show more Show less
