Hi I'm Camber

I am an editor and am obsessed with words and writings in many forms. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived all over the country, driving myself from coast to coast in a little Honda (named Murray). I could lose myself for hours in a bookstore and have a secret hope that I can build up my own library to the point that I have to use the Dewey Decimal System. I love my family more than words can express and would do anything for them.

Why I am a Mormon

Having the gospel in my life eliminates my biggest worries. I don't need to be worried about my life or what will happen when it ends. I don't need to worry about what my purpose here is. I already know it. My goal is to return to God, and He has prepared a way that I can accomplish that, no matter what else I am worrying about. I remember in high school, my English teacher had a running joke she would use for anyone who missed a class and asked her, "Did I miss anything important?" She'd always say, "Well, we just discovered the purpose of life is all." She thought it was a good joke because she didn't think anyone knew it. I thought it was wonderful because it always reminded me that I did. My testimony of the Gospel has come about because of a need. There is a missing piece of me that is filled by the Gospel, an otherwise hole that could not be filled by anything but the true church of Jesus Christ. I believe in God because I have seen miracles in my life--things that have come about that could not have come by any other means but through a loving Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

One of my favorite parts of living my faith is sharing this very special thing with those I care about. I know a lot of my friends wonder why Mormons can be so persistent in talking about their faith, even when it's sometimes considered taboo to discuss religion. It's pretty simple. We care about you. We want to share with you those things that are most special and wonderful to us.
