Hi I'm Amy

I'm a cow milking, pig loving, tractor driving, FFA nerdo, full time missionary... I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love agriculture and I love people. I grew up on a farm and have studied agriculture abroad in Malaysia and Taiwan and loved it. I love agriculture no matter what country we're in! I love to teach about agriculture and build leadership qualities. I am currently serving a full time mission in the New Hampshire Manchester Mission. Even as a misionary, I'm still farming.... afterall, the field is white and ready to harvest!

Why I am a Mormon

Why not? Nothing bad has ever come from my decision to join and follow the teachings of the Savior through the church. I know the values that are instilled in me through the principles taught by our Savior Jesus Christ will never lead me astray as long as I strive to have a set apart heart to the Lord.

How I live my faith

With my nametag above my heart it's pretty easy to tell I'm a Mormon. The thing that matters most to me isn't that I bare the name of our Savior on my heart but rather that He's IN my heart. I live my faith not by doing missionary things but by BEING who the Savior wants me to be.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Amy
A "testimony" is a sure witness that something is true. We know that you don't have to see something to believe it. For example, I have never seen my grandpa. But I know that I have a grandpa because I can feel it in my heart and it makes sense in my head. So... I have a "testimony" (or a sure witness) that I have a grandpa. Show more Show less
