Why I am a Mormon

I prayed this past September asking God if there were any true churches here on earth today because non of the churches I attended seemed right. Then about two weeks later, two missionaries visited me and had introduced me to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We had meetings and I investigated for a month for I had never heard of this church before. I came from a Pentecostal family and have read the Bible since I was 12, so at first it was hard to trust that this church was true. I prayed sincerely asking God if all that the missionaries told me was true. I got my answer through the Holy Ghost that these things were true. As I observed further, it seemed like this was a reincarnated church from the times of Peter, Paul, and the life era of Jesus Christ. I then made the decision to get baptized on November 13, 2010. I recieved the gift of the Holy Ghost the next day in Sacrament. I will never regret this choice because I know without a doubt that this Church is True, that the book of Mormon is indeed another true testament of Jesus Christ, that Joseph Smith was a true Prophet of God, and that the Gospel has been once again restored to this earth in these last days.

How I live my faith

I read my Scriptures daily, attend Church every Sabbath Day and strive to keep all of God's sacred commandments. I attend religion classes at my institute, I continue to build my testimony and pray often and will try to go to the Temple regularily. I try to follow the promptings of the Holy Ghost and do God's missionary work by trying to be more Christ-like to all peoples and try to share the gospel with everyone whenever I have an opportunity.
