Hi I'm Julie

I grew up in Virginia, USA. I just became a new mom! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Virignia and moved out to Utah to attend school. I got married to my husband 3 years ago and we just had our first child! I have always loved to laugh, I enjoy anything that will bring tears to my eyes through laughter! My hobbies include: dancing, hanging out with friends, watching movies, reading, cooking, trying to set new goals (I am going to do my first sprint tri this summer!), playing on the beach, anything that involves a boat and water!, roller coasters, and I love taking on a new adventure! I love spending time with family playing games and just sitting around telling stories. A few things I have on my bucket list are traveling around the world, skydiving, write a life history, and be an extra in a movie!!

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon... Having a relationship with my Heavenly Father has always been important to me. I always thought my relationship with Heavenly Father was strong, but then I truly embraced the gospel and my eyes were opened. I got baptized and was able to have the power of the Holy Ghost with me at all times. I learned that although I had a relationship with my Heavenly Father before it was a broken one... it only became complete was I was given the Gift of the Holy Ghost. Now I am able to feel my Heavenly Fathers presence all the time! What an amazing gift! Dedicating myself to this gospel I have found happiness, joy, peace and love. It has been a foundation on which I have found out who I am, a daughter of God, and what I was put on this earth to do. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gives me the resources I need to answer any questions I may have and opens the path to return home to my Father in Heaven. I know this church is true. I know my Heavenly Father loves me. I know Jesus Christ lives and died for me sins. And I know all this because I have learned of His will and way throught the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best. I know I am not perfect but I take one day at a time... taking the opportuntities put infront of me to be the Lords hands on the earth. My husband and I are still enjoying the student life so we don't have much to offer but baked goods, a helping hand, love, support, and just a friend to talk to are things I try to do for others. The church gives us plenty of opportunities to help our communities- blood drives, food drives, volunteer projects, etc. But most of all I live my faith by loving my neighbor. I believe this is the most important thing we can all do. I know people like receiving material things of service but I truly feel loving those around us and being a good friend are some of the best ways we can live our faith.
