Hi I'm Joshua

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a young adult trying to find my place in the world. I'm not a very sports oriented guy, in High School instead of doing sports I was the debate president. I enjoy video games, spending time with friends and family, and going camping. When I'm bored, my friends and I like to make fun movies together, just for the memories.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church, but that just got me started that's not why I'm currently a member of the church. I was a freshman in high school, I had just started seminary, and we were studying the Book of Mormon. One day I realized I had never prayed to know for myself if the Book of Mormon was true. So one day I found a quite place where I could pray to my Father in Heaven and I received my answer that the Book of Mormon really was the word of God. The things I have learned afterwards and especially on my mission have only increased that witness.

How I live my faith

I believe my religion shouldn't just be which church I attend on Sunday, but should really define who I am and be a part of my life. When I was growing up I was heavily involved with a church sponsered scout troop. Now that I'm graduated from high school I decided to serve a full time LDS mission to do good and help bring others into the gospel.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

Joshua
The Bible is the record of Christ's life and teachings during his ministry in Jerusalem. As followers of Jesus Christ understanding his life and teachings is very important. Show more Show less

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Joshua
Well back in the day the prophets were very important, they received revelation from God to lead and guide the church. Today we need that direct guildence from God just as much if not more than they needed it back then. It only makes sense to me that if God loved his children enough back then to send them a prophet, that he'd love his children enough today to send us a prophet for our day. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe happens after we die?

Joshua
After we die if we will have the opportunity to be with our loved ones forever in a state of rest in the kingdom of our Father in Heaven. We will all be placed in a different part of the kingdom according to how we lived our lives, but even the wicked will have a place of rest just not of the same glory as the righteous. Our Heavenly Father loves each of his children and he has prepared a place for all of us. Show more Show less
