Hi I'm Bill

The best decision I ever made was to become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

About Me

My beautiful wife, Donna, and I are the parents of four amazing grownup kids, and we are blessed with 11 precious grandchildren. My area of professional expertise is government contracting, and I am employed as a contracts specialist with a defense contractor. My personal passions are family activities, writing and the outdoors, and I am the author of the regional best seller, Eleven Miles South of Half Moon Bay. I used to love playing sports until my knees wore out, and I am a lifelong staunch fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Why I am a Mormon

Very simply stated, I chose to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a young newly wed because I found the Church to be true. By "true" I mean that the soul-deep questions that I pondered in my heart about God, his creations, and my role in God's eternal plan were answered over time as I met with missionaries, read and pondered scripture, and prayed earnestly to know the truth of these things. I had attended many churches and found wonderful people in each of them, but not until I came to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints did I find the Truth with a capital "T". I am eternally grateful for that experience and to those who assisted me to this blessed path of return to our Heavenly Father made possible by the infinite atonement of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to know and do the will of my Heavenly Father in all things. A large part of this striving is praying earnestly every day, reading and pondering scripture every day, attending church services every Sunday, participating often in sacred temple ordinances, serving diligently in any capacity to which I am invited by proper Church authority, and seeking to be a blessing at all times to family, friends, neighbors and those in need.
