Hi I'm Sam

I'm a Mormon. I am the President of the Republic Branch of the Colville, Washington Stake.

About Me

My wife, Margaret and I raised 9 children and now have 32 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Church while I was stationed at Ellsworth AFB in South Dakota when I was age 25 because it just made sense!

How I live my faith

Since my retirement from the U.S. Air Force and Home Builders Institute, I have become heavily involved in my community as a Civil Service Commissioner, a Director on the Ferry County/ Republic EMS district, and am currently serving a the Branch President of the Republic Branch. Our branch is larger than the State of Rhode Island and covers part of British Columbia, Canada.

Why do you have 12 Apostles? They were just meant to be around for the time of Jesus Christ, not to be replaced with new apostles.

Nowhere in the scriptures does it say that the 12 Apostles were only to be ordained during the time of Jesus. This Church believes that the heavens are open today and we have the rock of revelation as a building block of our faith. As Branch President I receive revelations for members of our branch and I know that Jesus Christ is the Corner Stone of our Church. Show more Show less
