Hi I'm Bobby

I love running, rock music, skiing, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. I'm majoring in computer science, and hope to become a programmer. In high school I participated in track and cross country, and although I no longer compete I enjoy running for excercise. I also play the piano and the guitar and love music. I recently returned from a 2 year mission in the Dominican Republic, and I'm fluent in Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, and baptized when I was eight. For most of my childhood and early teen years I enjoyed going to church, however I attended mainly for my parents. When I was 16, however, I started to think about a mission and realized I could no longer attend church just because my parents did. I thought and prayed hard, for a very long time. When I was 18, almost 19 and filling out the papers for my mission, I felt a strong impression that that's what God wanted me to do. I then knew through my own means that this is true church.

How I live my faith

I currently live in a house with 4 other guys, however I am the the only one who attends church. I try to be an example to them and to other people around me by always living the standards of the church. I am often amazed with some of the people I am around and how often they tell me that I am an example to them. I hope to continue being an example and hopefully through this lifestyle I can bring others closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
