Hi I'm Jon

I'm an Idaho Mormon boy.

About Me

My wife and I are the parents of six children - four married - one serving a mission in Argentina. We have 4 grandsons. I work in a computer consulting firm. I am a musician. I've led and participated in choirs and bands. I taught music at the secondary and elementary level for five years. I enjoy being in musical productions and playing in guitar and various instruments in small groups. I like writing and arranging music.

Why I am a Mormon

I am descended from Mormon pioneers. My parents brought me up in the Church and I developed a strong love for its teachings and programs. The Church is a great blessing to me and my family. I love the people of the Church and enjoy personal growth and enlightenment in my participation and service. I am a Mormon because I love God and want to live a life He and I would approve of.

How I live my faith

I have served as a teacher for all ages over the years. I have worked as a cub scout and boy scout leader. I've been a choir director and congregational music leader. I've served as a full-time and part-time missionary. I currently serve as part of a leadership council in our stake (a unit that includes several LDS wards).
