Hi I'm Chelsi

I'm a college graduate, a wife and a stay at home mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a wonderful husband and two fun, very energetic little boys. I have a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and hope to someday use it. In the meantime I get to spend every day going to the park or to the library, cooking dinner, watching out the window for Daddy to come home, and picking up Legos and plastic dinosaurs. I never thought that I'd enjoy the constant cleaning that comes with children as much as I do--I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Why I am a Mormon

It didn't come all at once, but gradually over time and through experiences I've come to know without a doubt that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that this is The Church of Jesus Christ. I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for us. Before we came to this earth we lived with him, and he wants us to return to live with him again. He loves us more than we can imagine! Having children has taught me so much more than I knew before about the love that he feels for each and every one of us and the joy that he must feel when we make good choices. I know that because of temples we are able to be with our families not just for the remainder of this life, but for eternity. What an amazing blessing.

How I live my faith

Much of what I do is because of what I believe. I try to teach my children daily that they have a Father in Heaven that loves them. I pray to him for guidance and forgiveness. On Sundays I teach the seven-year-olds about Jesus Christ. During the week I try to show kindness to others--at the grocery store, at the park, at the post office--because of what I believe. I'm very, very far from perfect, but I know that when I try to live my faith I feel true joy!
