Hi I'm Jessica

I've grown up in Western Washington, USA. I want to go to school but I don't know what I should study. And... I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 24 years old, I have an Associate's degree and I'm trying to decide what field of study to pursue. I have been a hair stylist for about 4 years now and currently I manage a salon. I grew up in the church, with my three sisters. My oldest sister and my twin sister no longer attend and I worry everyday about my younger sister following their example. I met my husband while we were in high school, he wasn't a member then. As our relationship grew I was faced with a very difficult decision, to marry outside of the church. After we had been married for almost a year, he was baptized, and we later were sealed in the temple. When we've finished with our schooling we hope to start growing our family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have prayed about the truthfulness of the church and received the answer that this is where I am supposed to be. I encourage anyone who has not yet asked for themselves to do so, and I know with absolute surety that they will receive the same answer.

How I live my faith

I am blessed to live near a temple, and I love to visit the temple. My husband and I attend church at our local meetinghouse every week. I work with the children ages 18 months - 3 years old. I love to teach these young spirits about Jesus, and how He knows and loves each of them. We sing songs about Him and usually color or do other activities that relate to our lesson. It is wonderful to hear them speak of Him.
