Hi I'm Marianne

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello! I'm a 36-year-old divorced single mom. I work with autistic and other special needs kids in a high school. I also take classes at night, working towards becoming a teacher. I have a 14-year-old son, who is awesome on the trumpet and guitar. We love music and we love watching funny movies. I love to write stories and exercise.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into a Mormon family and raised in the church. Living the gospel gives my life peace, purpose, and joy. I am happiest when I'm being true to my beliefs and living the way I believe God wants me to. I love the Book of Mormon and find so much comfort and peace in it when I read. I love how the members all help each other out when it's needed. I don't know where I'd be without the support and love of my church family!

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday. I enjoy singing in the choir at church. I also am a part of the women's organization, called the Relief Society. I help to plan and carry out our monthly activities. I am also a representative for the single adults in my congregation. That means I am responsible for letting all the single adults in my area know when there are activities, specifically for singles. I read scriptures with my family every night and we say prayers together.
