Hi I'm Chris

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the happy husband of a beautiful wife and the father of the sweetest little girl ever. I recently finished my master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and will be starting a long haul in medical school this fall. I've been endlessly blessed to have such a wonderful family (immediate and extended), and eternally blessed with the assurance of being sealed to them forever.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born to active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I wanted to learn for myself the truth about God and religion. Over time, I established a personal relationship with my Savior, and have learned to trust Him. Through my experiences with prayer, I have come to know that God exists and that He loves me. As I have tried to be obedient to His will, I have been immensely blessed. Through my service I have gained a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and why it is so important. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church of God. It is His kingdom here on earth - a perfect organization for imperfect people, effectively bringing salvation and happiness to those who truly seek it.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a home teacher and second counselor in my Elder's Quorum Presidency. I enjoy getting to know my neighbors and trying to establish a sense of community in my neighborhood, which isn't always easy nowadays. I do my best to keep the commandments because I know that Heavenly Father has given them to me knowing that they can make me happier. I abstain from things that could harm my physical health like alcohol and tobacco, as well as things that can reduce my spiritual health like distracting types of media. Doing these things in my life have helped me to be healthy and happy, and I try to share that happiness with anyone who will receive it.
