Hi I'm Bryce Bennett

I'm a Sports Fanatic, I'm a Gamer, I'm a Missionary in the Arizona Phoenix Mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from the small town of Syracuse, Utah, where i have lived since 3rd grade. Before that I was born in Layton and moved to Maryland when I was in 1st grade. I am the oldest of 3, having 1 brother and 1 sister. The one thing I love the most is...SPORTS! Football, Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, there are not many sports i dont like. I played football throughout high school, and I watch Football and Basketball religiously but I like watching anything and everything sports! ESPN was on close to 24/7 at my house. College, Professional, even high school, anywhere and everywhere sports is played i can be there to enjoy it! My favorite teams are BYU , Utah Jazz, Football is a bit harder to choose Cardinals, Colts, and Ravens are a few of my favorites. I am also a huge gamer, Video Games were always on be it PC or Xbox. Music is a huge part of my life also! I'm a rocker at heart, from old school rock like Styx, Metallica, AC/DC just to name a few to the newer rock like Skillet, Nickelback, etc. While in Utah I worked at a movie theater for 2 years where I met alot of great people who are still friends to this day, I also worked for a Demolition Company and also worked at Ford. I also had the opportunity to go to college for a semester at Weber State University. Right now I'm close to finishing my 2 year mission. I hope to return home and attend BYU and working on finding a occupation in Sports!

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church yep thats right all 21 years of my existence I have had the opportunity to learn of my Savior and how we can be able to return back to our Heavenly Father someday, but I too had to really receive that witness for myself that ALL the things I was learning, throughout my whole life, were true. I was the typical young boy, I tried my hardest to stay home from church so I would be able to watch the football games or play some video games. I'd fake sick/ do ANYTHING just to stay home for those 3 small hours. But thanks to my awesome mother, knowing my sickness was me faking, still had us go to church. I never read the Book of Mormon fully until my first year in Seminary, Where as a class we took the challenge of President Gordon B. Hinckley Prophet at that time and read the Book before the next year. So I did so and I took to heart the challenge that Moroni gives in the last chapter of the book Moroni 103-5 telling us if we ask with sincerity and faith, also willing to act on the answer we receive, we will receive the answer that the Book is true! and we will receive that through the Holy Ghost. I can honestly tell you that I received an Answer, and that answer was that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is truly Christ's Church once again established on the earth today, That Joseph Smith is a Prophet of God and that we have Modern Day Prophets today to lead and guide us in the ways of the Lord, and of course That the Book of Mormon truly is Another Testament of our Savior Jesus Christ. And I continue to always receive that answer time and time again as i continue to always ask in prayer

How I live my faith

How do I live my Faith? I live my faith by not only saying I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, but by SHOWING that I follow Him. I try and develop myself in such a way to be in harmony with Christ and All his teachings. Showing Love to All the children of God, Helping those who need that help, and by Living and Sharing the Gospel with all I come in contact with. I do so now because I have been called of God to do so, to be a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, to go and spread the "good news" in Arizona to all God's Children to bring them closer to Christ by helping them receive the Restored gospel through Faith in Jesus Christ and His atonement, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and by Enduring to the End. I am spending these 2 years in love and service not only to help those who are not members of our church but to help those who are and also to help myself.
