Hi I'm David

I love college football. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Nebraska. The Huskers are my team. I enjoy running and ran cross country in high school. My entire family is musical so I sing and play the piano as well. I'm currently a college student studying Chemical Engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are Mormon so I was raised in this faith. I am very grateful for being blessed to be raised in a family where the Gospel of Jesus Christ is taught and lived. While not perfect we strived to read the scriptures and prayer everyday together. I have always felt that what I have been taught is true, but we are always encouraged to figure out for ourselfs. The Book of Mormon has been key in convincing me to continue in the faith that my parents have taught me. I had read the Book of Mormon a few times when I really decided to find out if it was true or not. One summer I searched for this comfirmation by sincerely reading the Book of Mormon and praying everyday to know if it was true. I remember very cleary one Sunday when I was beginning my scripture study with a prayer that I felt a spiritual confirmation from the Holy Ghost tell me that the Book of Mormon. How that feels is hard to describe. However, I have continued to ask for a recomfiration of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon as I read it everyday, and I often feel God speak to me through my feelings and thoughts telling me that the Book of Mormon and this church are true.

How I live my faith

I try to be a good person. I try to be kind to others. I try to serve those around me. I try to do what is right. I try to be what God would want me to be. I try a lot. I'm not perfect. When I make mistakes, I repent. I have faith in Jesus Christ, and I know that He forgives.
