Hi I'm Kellen

I love sports, my family, my friends, I'm preaching the good word down here in the south, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Kellen, I'm from Orem, Utah. I've been down in Alabama for the last little while preaching the Lord's gospel to the spanish people. Family is very important to me, without them life wouldn't be the same. I love sports, especially baseball and football. I've left my family in Utah so that, through the gospel, other families can be together forever.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of the way I choose to live my life. I have found that through the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints a person is just plain happier because of living the way God wants them to. I am a Mormon because I can't imagine a heaven without my family and through being a mormon I know what I have to do to live with them on the other side.

How I live my faith

Even though I fail at times, I strive to live my life in a way that would pleasing to my Father in heaven. I try to live my standards wherever I am and in everything that I do. I believe that someone should be able to see that I'm a Mormon before I tell them that I am one. I have the oppurtunity to live my faith by being a missionary and sharing what I believe with everyone that I see. To live the my faith means to put the Gospel into every aspect of life. I try to be an example to my friends, my parents, my brothers and sister, and to everyone else and that is how I live my faith.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Kellen
We believe that the purpose of life is to "prepare to meet God" like the scriptures say. Before this life we lived with God. We wanted to be just like Him but because we lacked experience and a physical body it was not possible. By the plan that God gave us we come down to earth, recieve a physical body, experiences that shape us and help us grow so that we can return to our Heavenly Father as greater sons and daughters of Him. So, as Latter day saints, we believe that the purpose of life is to come to earth and live the Gospel the very best we can so that through the conditions that Jesus Christ gave us, we may return to our Heavenly Father. It was our Purpose from the beginning to return to God with His qualities. Show more Show less
