Hi I'm Billy

I believe that through faith, perserverence, diligence, fueled by righteous desires, one can accomplish anything.

About Me

Born of a French Canadian father, and a Mexican Native American mother. I am a third generation Mormon. I am a husband, father and grandfather, a carpenter by trade, businessman, author,Native American story teller, beekeeper, backpacker and scouter.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church, and have been gaining and strengthening my testimony my entire life. I am an avid reader of the Book Of Mormon.I know that teachings within are true, and that the Book of Mormon is truley another witness of Jesus The Christ. I bare witness that Jesus Christ bled in the garden for my sins, and died upon the cross, that I might have the blessings of the resurrection.

How I live my faith

As a scouter I have had the opportunity to train scoutmasters in basic scouting skills. I teach that we are all examples to all those who we are around. The question is are we a good example , or otherwise. I do my very best at living up to the commandments, and the example the Lord has set. To remember the covenents of baptism, as well as additional covenents I have made, and to always live my life in a manner that I might always be able to enter into the house of the Lord.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

The Book Of Mormon Prophet Nephi taught " that it is by grace that we are saved after all we can do." Not only must we accept Christ as our savior, but we must do our very best in learning and keeping the principles taught by Christ. I also believe that it is our solem duty to teach those correct principles to our families, as well as being an example of those principles to all those around us. Show more Show less

What is the Book of Mormon?

The Book OF Mormon does not in any way take the place of the Bible. The Book Of Mormon is additional testimony, or afformation that Jesus is the Christ. We believe the Bible, King James Version goes hand in hand testifying and affirming the life and teachings of Christ. Show more Show less
