Hi I'm Oliver

I was born in Barcelona, I'm a Mormon

About Me

Im Oliver, I love piano even thought I don't play it too well, love my friends and church activities.

Why I am a Mormon

Some random missionaries knocked on my grandma's house in the 60's, and they had open hearts, and were baptized. My dad grew up LDS all his life, and my mom was a convert to the church at the age of 15. I was born of good parents as Nephi did, and my parents were the example to me to go to church and I was growing up with their testimony. At the age of 15 I was hesitating about going to church and for some reason I chose to read the Book of Mormon, and I do not know what happened but, as I was reading, I felt something different. Something that I have never felt reading other books. The same night I prayed to Heavenly Father, and after I prayed I went to bed and started crying. It wasn't because I was sad or something bad happened, it was the Holy Ghost telling me that the Book of Mormon is true. I believe that since that day I had my own testimony, and that made me ready to go on a full time mission. That's why I am still a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving a full time mission in the Utah Ogden Mission. Serving a mission is the best decision I've ever done in my life. I was the pianist on my home ward, and to tell you the truth it was a great experience except when they asked to play the piano after church, and that took time from hanging out with my friends at church! But don't get me wrong, it was great! I did home teaching with my dad, it was an interesting experience, I didn't know that home teaching was so similar to do missionary work until I came to my mission! The funniest part about church stuff was the Institute. The reason why is after classes we would hang out with others and have a blast!
