Hi I'm Tiffany

I am a Registered Nurse as well as a mother to twins. I love to travel and learn. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My number one job is being a wife as well as a mother to beautiful 1-year-old twin girls. My other job is working full-time as a registered nurse on the night shift! I am a big advocate of higher education, and I was the first in my family of 7 children to receive my bachelor's degree. I love to travel and have visited 10 countries outside the US, hoping to add many more to that number over the years. I love to read, play sports (especially volleyball), play the piano, sing, create, and be with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church and raised Mormon. It never crossed my mind to doubt what I was being taught because it all brought to me such a great sense of peace. However, as I grew older and began to think more about life's questions, I began to think more about just why I believe what I do, and if it is really true. After exploring the teachings of the prophets in the Bible and Book of Mormon as well as much prayer and thought, I can say with firm conviction that this Gospel is true!! It all makes so much sense and rings true to my heart. The number one reason I know it is true? It makes me so HAPPY...every aspect of the Gospel is meant to bring joy and I have a testimony that righteous living in accordance with the teachings of Jesus Christ brings true and lasting happiness that can be found no other way!

How I live my faith

I live in an amazing area with a great ward family. There is a great mix of people, including many young families with young children, experiencing the same things I am! I have made lasting friendships that I would not have made otherwise. One great program is visiting teaching...I have two women that come to visit me each month and it is so great to have conversation with other adults and hear an uplifting spiritual message. I also get the opportunity to visit other sisters and build relationships with them! My assignment in the ward is so great because I get to use my talent of playing the piano to accompany the beautiful hymns we sing each Sunday. I love being part of creating an atmosphere of peace and love where the Holy Ghost can touch our hearts. I love that there are so many opportunities for each ward member to serve, regardless of their situations...everyone has a place!

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

The Church is growing so rapidly and I know it is because we have truth. Each of us has the opportunity to feel the Holy Spirit testify to us when we hear true principles, and when people are taught the Gospel, I believe they can feel the truthfulness of what is being taught. It makes them happy and it makes sense to them! We were taught these things in Heaven before we came to earth, so it's like our Spirits are remembering things they were taught before and it just rings true. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about "eternal life?"

This is such an exciting principle! We believe that we all existed as spirit children with God before this mortal existence, and after we die we will return to live with him and will become immortal. It brings so much peace to know that life is eternal, that families are eternal, and that we have that eternity to be with our loved ones and to continue to learn and progress. Show more Show less
