Hi I'm Jordan Treasure

I grew up moving around a lot but call Utah home. I am a student right now and plan on going on to professional school.

About Me

I am married to my beautiful wife Angie. We enjoy spending our time with our family and each other. I love anything sports related. I love to road bike, play indoor soccer, snowboarding, and water skiing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that Jesus is the Christ. I learned this through prayerfully seeking an understanding when I was looking for a relationship with my Heavenly Father. I was raised all over Utah and born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I went to primary as a child but as I reached my teenage years I didn't attend church. I saw the example of friends and family and knew that I was missing something in my life but i didn't know what. I always felt that someone was always looking over me and I knew that I belonged to a bigger heavenly family. As I pondered this relationship I knew that I had to act and do something about how I felt. Around this same time I received a chalenge from a great friend; to live every principal that the church taught for three months. I took him up on the chalenge, and I can not thank him enough. During that time I read the Book of Mormon, to see if what it taught was from God. I asked in prayer if what I had read and felt over those three months was true and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to teach in the sunday school program and really enjoyed it. I taught fourteen to sixteen year olds. I tried to make it fun for them, but I am sure they could tell each time how nervous I was. I look forward to more opportunity to serve in the church, its been a little rough sometimes while going to school and working but the feeling is always worth it.
