Hi I'm Brett

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband, I'm a reader, I'm a surfer, I'm in technology sales, I'm a comedian (that works for free and exclusively in my own life), and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon simply because nothing in life makes me as happy. Knowing that God loves me, that His son cares for me, that they have a plan for me, and that their authority is in this church is why I'm a mormon. I read the Book of Mormon, I prayed about it, and I had a peaceful feeling from the Holy Ghost tell me it was true. I knew that if the Book of Mormon was true, then Joseph Smith was a true prophet. And if that was the case, then God's real church was back on the earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by helping others, studying the scriptures, and praying to my Father in Heaven.

Why do some call Mormonism a cult?

Some people call the Mormon Church a cult probably because they heard someone else say it. The idea of a cult is most often associated with exclusive religious practices that are kept from the world. The real word cult means to cultivate, or to worship. We are not trying to keep any secrets, we love God our Father, we believe that Jesus Christ is his son and our savior, and we know that they both love and care for every single one of us.
