Hi I'm Heather.

I'm a Mom. I'm a Registered Nurse. I'm a runner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Texas and then moved to Utah for college. While at college I met the man of my dreams and married him. I then fulfilled another one of my dreams to graduate and become a Registered Nurse. However, I have since found my real calling in life - Mom. I wake up each day aware of the wonderful blessing it is to be able to take care of my beautiful son. I LOVE being a wife and mother, being a nurse, running and exercising, playing the piano, reading, baking, college football and basketball, cinnamon rolls, the Tour de France, and being a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it gives my life purpose. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been the foundation for every major decision I have made. Getting back to live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ alongside my family is my ultimate goal. I know I am not perfect, and may be far from my goal, but I keep trying even when I mess up because of my faith in the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Each new day is an opportunity to repent and try again. I find peace and hope in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My testimony of this church is strengthened every time that I pay attention to the Holy Ghost. I know God lives. I know Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. I know Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and was commanded to restore Christ's church. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God to the people of Ancient America. And I know that we have a living prophet today who was called of God, Thomas S. Monson. I love this Gospel!!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every Sunday, playing the piano for the children's singing time, visiting other women from church in their homes every month, and striving to live each day as my Heavenly Father and Savior would have me do.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

You can find out for yourself that Mormonism is true by taking a leap of faith and reading the Book of Mormon. You are promised in Moroni 10 4-5 that if you pray to our Heavenly Father with a sincere heart, the truth of this book will be born to you through the Holy Ghost.  Show more Show less
