Hi I'm Kathy

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife, mother, grandmother and dental hygienist. I enjoy swimming, bike riding, long walks, going to the mountains, the beach and being with my grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate to be born in an active LDS family. However, I grew up in an area with very few members. This gave me the opportunity to share my testimony. I studied the gospel so I could answer my neighbors' questions. As I studied and shared my testimony the Holy Ghost testified to me that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true, restored gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth today. I love being a member of the church. It makes me happy.

How I live my faith

At church I teach the children the gospel of Jesus Christ and I serve in the temple. At home, I read my scriptures and pray daily. I try to treat everyone with dignity and respect, as we are all sons and daughters of Heavenly Father. I try to live each day so that my Heavenly Father will be pleased with me because I want to show gratitude for my many blessings.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

We believe that baptism by one who holds the proper priesthood authority is essential for exaltation in the Kingdom of God. As new members are baptized they make covenants with God and become a member of His church.  Show more Show less
