Hi I'm Nathan

I currently attend medical school. I love basketball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play basketball and to watch it. I am a Utah Jazz fan. I am currently attending medical school in hopes to become a doctor. I love to be with my family. We laugh a lot together. I love anything to do in the mountains, especially hiking and trail running. My dream is to go to Africa some day.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of all of the good things that the religion teaches. It has a huge emphasis on serving other people and making others' lives better. The main reason though that I am a Mormon is because I believe that God answers prayers. I asked Him in a personal prayer if what the Mormon church teaches is true. He answered me and has continued to answer me through thoughts, feelings, and impressions. I know with all of my heart that the Book of Mormon is the word of God along with the Bible. They teach and profess of Christ.

How I live my faith

I love being out in the community. It is hard at times to find opportunities to get involved, especially when my schooling demands so much of my time, but when I am at a homeless shelter or making a little kid smile, it reminds me of what real happiness is. Happiness comes from serving others and helping them have a better life. By serving, I am able to more closely follow Jesus Christ's footsteps in looking outward instead of inward.
