Hi I'm Megan

I'm a Middle School teacher and love to be in the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a single adult who loves spending time with my family and friends. I love to be in the outdoors: hunting, fishing, camping, four-wheeling and hiking. I love to read and go shopping. I also love to sew, do bobbin lace and other hand crafts.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the peace and guidance that it gives me in my life. I know that when I am stressed out and don't know what I'm going to do next through the peace and guidance I am able to know what to do. I love having the gospel in my life and knowing that I can follow Jesus Christ path that he has paved for me. I am grateful for the knowledge that I have of eternal families. A few years ago I lost my nephew to health problems, although it was a devastating time, I knew that because of the restored truth that I could see him again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving in my community. Many times I have the opportunity to serve others around me, whether it is to talk to the elderly or visit the sick. I participate in activities with the youth helping them to build their commitment to the gospel and prepare themselves for life. I love serving with the youth, they have such great power and belief and will be great leaders one day. I also belong to the woman's organization in our church, it gives such great connection with others of my faith. It gives me an opportunity to get to know some great women who have similarities with me. I am able to do activities with them and form great friendships.

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

I think the role of the husband and wife is very important in the family. They lead the family based on the essential principles of the gospel. They lead together making decisions equally. Both the husband and wife bring unique characteristics into the family that both provide and nurture the members of the family. Show more Show less
