Hi I'm Taylee

I'm a redhaired, trilingual, bird-and-book-loving crafts enthusiast, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to make things, and to learn. That about sums me up. My passions include reading, learning and studying Japanese and French, animals (especially birds), baking, and crafts (especially knitting and crocheting). My lifelong goal is to become as well-rounded as I can, and always seek out new things to learn about and new skills to learn. I've been married for almost 5 years to the greatest guy ever, and we have an adorable 1-year old son. I've never been happier, and I'm so excited to see my family grow and develop. I'm so grateful I will have an eternity with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to be born into a strong Mormon family and was raised in the Church. My father was also born into the Church and has been a strong member his whole life; my mother converted to the Church from the Catholic religion when she was 19 and has been a strong member ever since. They are incredible parents and have been excellent examples for me to follow. They love each other deeply and love the Lord, and I want to be just like them. The gospel has brought peace to my life, more than I think I even realize. I know that whenever I have problems or questions about life, I can find the answers because I know I can bring them to my Father in Heaven. I know that He is there, He knows me and loves me as his daughter. That has always been such a comforting thought.

How I live my faith

All throughout my life I have actively attended Sunday church meetings. When I was a teenager, I actively attended early morning seminary and weekly activity nights. Currently, I am serving as a leader in the Young Women organization. I help the girls stay on track as they complete the Personal Progress program, which consists of projects and tasks that are meant to help them develop strong values, gain valuable life skills, and grow closer to their earthly families as well as closer to their Father in Heaven and the Savior. Outside of Church meetings, I try my best to strengthen my home and my family, and do all I can to grow and learn. I try to be a good friend and citizen.
