Hi I'm Jana.

I love exercise, health, learning, and my family. I am a wife and a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a happy, healthy, energetic wife and mother. I am married to a husband I adore and enjoy friends and family above anything in the world. I'm a college graduate who's lived in Taiwan and am now happily rooted back in the US where I am raising our son with my husband. I came to know Jesus Christ over many years between my teens and early twenties. He was extremely patient with me, and knew that I faced many obstacles (mostly self-imposed) before I could find refuge in his arms. Now that I am under his wing, I'm never leaving.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because nothing in my life has given me as much empowerment, relief, or peace. Of course, there are many things in life that have the potential to edify us, but only truth like that found in my faith can sustain one at his very worst, as well as at his best.

How I live my faith

I love God first. When life gets difficult, I don't try to fix things. I go to God. When life is good, I don't ignore God. I thank Him.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

It is not a requirement for all Mormons to serve a mission, however, it is required of young, able men. When males reach the age of 19 and are healthy, they are required to serve a two year mission (they can serve between the ages of 19 and 26). For everyone else it is optional, but encouraged.
