Hi I'm Chelsea

I am a Wife. I am a Mother. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young mother of 2. One boy and one girl. My entire world revolves around them and my sweet husband. I really don't think I was meant to do anything else but raise a family and be a mother. I really try to be the best mother I can be, I like to think of it as my job and I want to be completely successful and know I've done my best. I like to document my life and thoughts in a blog (spencerandchelseacoonfamily.blogspot.com). I love to craft and sew, creating new things excites me and I love to be able to say I made something myself. I also love to take as many pictures as possible...I'm no photographer but I love documenting each moment in a photograph.

Why I am a Mormon

It's taken a while for me to truly know why I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I grew up in the church but I didn't gain a true testimony until I was a little older. I'm so grateful for the examples I have had in my life that have showed me to live my life as our Savior would. My faith has helped me through tough times and i have felt myself close to my Heavenly Father as I have overcome struggles. I have also felt his love through the countless blessings I have received in my life thus far.

How I live my faith

My family and I pray each morning and night as a family as well as praying individually. We read scriptures together and attend church service each sunday. My husband and I serve church callings and also pay our tithing. I am constantly trying to find ways to serve, to help or to brighten another persons day. These seem like the basics but to me its the little things that make those big impacts in our daily lives. My day is always better if I start it out right and I've seen the blessings I have received because of it.
