Hi I'm Chandler

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in an amazing family. I’m the youngest of five kids. I've had about a year of school at college, studying physics. I love exploring the mysteries of the universe, and the intricacies of God's creations.

Why I am a Mormon

It is thanks to my family that I’m a Mormon, not just because they are members also, but because of their wonderful examples of living the gospel. But the reason why I consider myself a Mormon goes far beyond that. I've prayed for divine assistance and felt, because of that, engulfed in indescribable peace, assuring me that God knows and loves me personally. I've established the consistent habit of studying the Book of Mormon, which brought me closer to God than I had ever before been in my life. I've had distinct spiritual impressions, witnessing to me that Joseph Smith truly saw God the Father and Jesus Christ, and that this church is the Lord's Kingdom. I've felt the peace that comes when living the standards of the gospel. This is why I’m a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I recently spent two years as a full time missionary, preaching the gospel in Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. It is hard to describe how amazing an experience that is, to spend two years focused solely on helping others find the joy that comes from knowing and living God's plan. But the basics of how I live my faith never change. I go to church every week. I make sure I take the time to sincerely pray every day, and I try to make that an experience where I can be edified by the spirit. I also make sure to set apart a block of time each day to where I can study the scriptures. I find that the ammount of strength I have to live up to the standards I know are right is proportional to how much effort and time I put into studying and pondering the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon.
