Hi I'm Susan

I'm a wife. I help people to be self reliant. I'm a photographer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love learning and practicing ways to help my family be frugal and prepared. I am a photographer and artist. Music is one of my passions, I can't go a day without listening to it. I play video games with my husband and have fun doing it together. I am beginning to enjoy the art of cooking with fresh ingredients; making a delicious meal from scratch makes me happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, although I wasn't truly converted until my late teen years. I couldn't deny the feeling of peace that overcame me while reading the Book of Mormon and searching for answers to others' questions about the gospel. I see the blessings of the gospel every day, whether in my life or others. My life is fuller, happier, and more joyful when I follow the teachings of my Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I attend church services every Sunday with my husband. We pray together every day. I strive to find opportunities to serve those around me. It is true that we love those whom we serve. On Sundays I teach young women ages 16-18 and on a weekday evening I attend their activity night. I also serve on a committee with other women that plan monthly meetings and activities for all of the adult women in our ward. At least once a month I visit with specific women to share a spiritual message with them and help them with any needs they may have.
