Hi I'm Kelsey

I grew up in Utah, and I am a college student. I am becoming a nurse, and I love helping people.

About Me

So, I am a full time college student. I really would like to go into the nursing field, at the end of my schooling, I would like to be a nurse practitioner. I also work full time. I work at a rehabilitation center, as a CNA. Which I love because I love helping people, and taking care of those that need my help. I love dancing, I am a professional scottish dancer, and it is something I throughly love to do, even though I don't always have very much time for it right now. I bake, hike, and I love traveling. I also love to write my sweetheart. Who is serving a mission for the church, to teach others about the LDS gospel. I love his strength and his love of the gospel. Life can be hard, but I love enjoying the small and simple things in life.

Why I am a Mormon

Religion has always been something that I have struggled with. I grew up in an LDS household, but it wasn't until I was in high school, and my first year of college that I really grasped my testimony of the gospel. I know of the atoning sacrifice of our Savior, and I couldn't be more grateful for the gift that comes with this everlasting sacrifice. I believe in the power of Love, and the Savior's love for us is endless, and unbiased. I know that through Christ we are able to be with our families for time and eternity, and I couldn't be more excited to spend an eternity with the love of my life. I know that through prayer we can gain the comforting spirit of the holy ghost, so we are able to accomplish all that comes our way. I know the scriptures provide enlightenment that can help guide us, and provide us with a knowledge and a greater love for our dear and beloved Savior that sacrificed all for us. To be a Mormon is to try to be a little like Christ to love, and to be the best you can. To be Mormon, is to learn from your mistakes, and to learn to love who you are. To be Mormon is to find joy in the difficult times, and to have the comfort of knowing the eternity of family.

How I live my faith

I participate in my community by visiting some of my neighbors, making sure they are doing alright. I also help at my work on Sunday's to provide LDS church services, and a couple of other religious services. Because a lot of the patients aren't capable of leaving to go to their church services.
