Hi I'm Jessie

I'm a graduate student. I'm a scientist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently working on getting my PhD. I'm a nerd, a hockey enthusiast, a rock climber and an avid bookworm. I would rather be outdoors doing anything than be stuck indoors. I have two mottoes-Try Everything Twice and Life Is What You Make It.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up being Mormon but I didn't know if I believed it. The summer before I started college, a friend challenged me to read the Book of Mormon. That summer I came to know that the church was true and that I am a daughter of God. My faith has given me the strength I've needed to get through the difficult times life can bring.

How I live my faith

My faith defines who I am and how I interact with others. I try to follow the Savior's selfless example. If I can do anything even if it's small to help lift another person's burden, I will. I believe that service will help to draw our communities together and I love the many opportunities that this church gives me to serve.
