Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon beacause I once wondered what my purpose in life is. My purpose is to become a better peerson through my actions and learning. I learned that the Church of Jesus Christ is true by asking God. God gave me a peaceful feeling and a knowledge that Joseph Smirh is a prophet who receives living revelation and the Book of Mormon is the woed of God. The Book of Mormon answers any serious question we have. I am a Mormon because of the happy people and examples I have seen in my life. Its dun to get to know new people and new things

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example of what I believe. My word is my honor. I don't drink or smoke and live a virtues life. I am involed with school and I throw together trips and activies with people I know.

Why do Mormons perform proxy baptisms in their temples?

We perform proxy baptisms in the temple to let everyone have the chance to return to God's presence after they die. Show more Show less

like it states in 1 Corinthians 15:29. "Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead. if the dead rise not all all? why are they than baptized for the dead?" Why are only some Mormons allowed into temples? Is there something secret going on in Mormon Temples? What goes on in Mormon Temples?

Mormons are the only allowed inside of temples because it is a scared place where God resides. Temple are a place of peace and a place to gain new understanding. How do I become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?

Someone can become a member by: Nephi 31:14, "14But, behold, my beloved brethren, thus came the voice of the Son unto me, saying: After ye have repented of your sins, and witnessed unto the Father that ye are willing to keep my commandments, by the baptism of water, and have received the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost." The missionaries teach the basic principles of the gosepl of Jesus Christ. Someone first needs to find out if The Book of Mormon is true or not, and if it is then Joseph Smith is a prophet and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. Service is our religion. We have a huge humanitarian program, where we help clean up and send supplies after disasters. A college education program, where people from around the world gp to scollege and pay back the loan after they get a job. Show more Show less
