Hi I'm Albert

I grew up in NY and Boston. I love the Yankees. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I absolutely love baseball and soccer. I love to be with my family, although there are always struggles. I love nature and animals; my family has a dog, cat, ferret and birds!

Why I am a Mormon

Why I'm a Mormon? Well I haven't always been a Mormon. In fact I became a Mormon in April of 2007. I was an active member of the Catholic church since I was born, then high school hit me. I began to steer away from my Catholic faith and even worse I began to steer away from God. Now what I am about to explain is hard to explain unless you've experienced it. I felt like my life was going super well even though it was quite the contrary. As I look back I can see that I was simply going through the motions of life. I felt this sense of hopelessness and felt like that was what life was supposed to be like. About a year and a half of living in a state of hopelessness I met the missionaries. They taught me of great truths such as God's plan of salvation; what is required of us to have happiness and peace in this life, what is the purpose of our lives, how do families fit into all this, etc. What they shared filled me with happiness, a happiness that I had never felt before. I joined the church about 2 months after I met with the missionaries. My mother was still a strict Catholic and wasn't very happy of the idea, but eventually should would feel that same feeling of happiness that I felt, and join 2 years after I did. Why am I Mormon? Because it gives me hope, happiness, direction and above all it is the truth.

How I live my faith

I served as a missionary for 2 years in New Jersey! How do I live it now that I finished my mission? I do it everyday by reaching out to others. Right now I have the opportunity to work with the youth of the church.I can offer motivation and support through the lessons that I've learned as I've lived my faith, both as a missionary and as a non-missionary.
