Hi I'm Lee

In a nut shell, I am industrious. My greatest strength is my knowledge that I am a daughter of God, and He loves me!

About Me

I am most importantly a wife and a mother. Until recently I worked at a local hospital as a RN but have chosen to be a full time wife and mother of four children. For enjoyment I knit, quilt, cook, garden, and read. In my middle age I have learned how to alpine ski and fly-fish. I love being a wife and mother!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon Family. As a child I went to church every Sunday. I still remember the first time I truly knew for myself that this is God's Church on the earth today. I was a freshman in high school and attending an elective religion class. The class was watching a film about Joseph Smith's First Vision. I had seen this film no less than a hundred times growing up. But something was different that day. When I saw the part where God the Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith my heart fluttered and I felt a warmth that started in my heart and spread through out my body. I knew that what I was watching really did happen! That God and Jesus have bodies that they appeared in answer to Joseph's sincere prayer. Over the years I have had other witnesses of truth but whenever life gets hard and I wonder if it is really worth it to be a Mormon, I remember that day more than 30 years ago and the way I felt and I can not deny the gift God gave me that day. He and his son are real, they have laid out a plan to return to them. I will not give up because life gets hard the eternal cost is too great to sacrifice.

How I live my faith

My faith is my life. It is so totally ingrained in who I am. I attend church every Sunday with my family. I have an active roll in teaching the young women which means I also attend youth activities one night during the week. My children and husband are also active in church and participate in scouting, service, and youth activities. Outside of church I volunteer at the schools and have recently started to attend a quilting group.
