Hi I'm Alex

I grew up in California. I have returned from serving in the Congo. I'm a member of the Church.

About Me

First off, I don't really like talking about me, but here it goes. I have 1 older sister and 3 younger brothers. My family is the most important thing in my life. My mother's from the Philippines, and my dad is American. They're divorced, so I'm with my mother for now. I enjoy spending time with my brothers. We could do anything together, but we normally airsoft, parkour, play video games, "boffer," and trap shoot, among many other things.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the Church, and I originally chose to serve a full time mission in order to be a good example to my younger brothers. During my mission, I actually started applying what I've been learning since childhood. I experimented on the concepts of prayer, scripture study and strict obedience to the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ. As I did this, I truly felt at peace with myself and others. Everything I've experienced started to make sense. I can now honestly say that this Church is here to make lives better. I know that God loves us, and that everything that happens to us is for our good and growth. Knowing that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world has helped me to follow everything else in faith.

How I live my faith

I've acted on my faith by serving a 2-year mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Africa. I'm back now, eager to serve my home ward in any way I can...
