Hi I'm Casey

I am a Dad, I am an Accountant, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a dad, I like to garden, I enjoy sports (playing and watching), I spent a bit of time in school and received a few peices of paper, family is important.

Why I am a Mormon

It is simple. Following the teachings of Jesus Christ makes my life simple. It is simple to understand what to do. And I am simply blessed for obeying.

How I live my faith

As a leader in the leader in the Young Men organization I have the opportunity to participate in many activities. This helps me to live my faith. I know that even if I did not have the calling, coming to church and participating in Sunday meetings is the most important thing. I feel the Spirit there.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

No, we revere him as the Prophets of old. He did a great work in helping to reestablish the Church of Jesus Christ back to this earth. Since so much of our early history is related to him, we are very thankful to him for what he did. This can cause confusion since he is held with such high esteem. The comparison I have, did the Children of Israel worship Moses? No, but he did a great thing for them. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about "eternal life?"

If we follow the example of Jesus Christ and keep the commandments we can live with our Heavenly Father and family forever. Of all the things on earth, it is our family that we want to be with forever. We have that chance, thanks to our Saviour Who provided a way. Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Me. As I learn more about life, science, education, and so on, there is to much out there occuring unaided and so many things that work out for mankind. There is a God and He helps us each day. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about family?

Family is the most important organization. It is there that children can be raised in a good home and taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That is why there is so much oposition and temptations to destroy the family or keep one from beginning. Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes. The official name of the church to which "Mormons" belong is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Jesus Christ is the head of the Church. We talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ...that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins. 2 Nephi 25:26 Show more Show less

How are modesty and chastity related? How can parents teach their children to be modest in dress, language and behavior?

Living a modest life can keep one chaste. As we keep our lives modest, it is like keeping ourselves far from the fence of right and wrong. Being modest allows the Spirit to be with us. Show more Show less
