Hi I'm Mark Singer

I served in the Army, I like team sports, hunting, fishing and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of four, two from a previous marriage, one of which is adopted. I have been a member of the Church my entire life though my wife joined after we met. I went on a mission to Arizona (72-74) and it was there that I gained life's experiences in the gospel and a testimony. I worked with and met a lot of interesting people. I have recently retired from the U S Army Reserve as an Air Defense Officer. The Army has given me an opportunity to go do some very interesting things. It does not define me but I am proud of my service.

Why I am a Mormon

I owe it to my Creator to understand him and to serve others. I can't do one without the other.

How I live my faith

I am not perfect. I face most of the same problems the rest of us face. But I do my best and strive to get better at something every day. My faith extends across all aspects of my life every day of the week.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Mark Singer
Regardless of how hard we work, or how many good works we do or how much service we give to Heavenly Father and our fellow man we will always be in debt to Him. That role will never change, it is by God's grace that we will be saved but only after we have done all the good works we could have in this life. Jesus Christ will judge us as we stand on the ladder of good works we have built. That ladder will not reach the top of the cliff so we rely on Christ's grace to bring us the rest of the way.
