Hi I'm Brian

I can't dance but I can make a pretty mean omelette. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy reading, biking, sailing, hiking, baking rustic sourdough bread, and photography. But my greatest happiness comes from spending time with my wife and kids!

Why I am a Mormon

While my family has been part of the church for many generations, I have been fortunate to have come to a personal assurance that the restored gospel of Jesus Christ is on the earth today. My faith and knowledge has come through the unmistakable feelings of the Holy Spirit both in answer to prayer and as a natural consequence of living as best I can in harmony with the truth. I am especially grateful to have the powerful assurance that families can be together eternally.

How I live my faith

One of the great things about being a member of the church is the many opportunities for service that it brings. Since there is no paid clergy, we all take part in the work of the church and in helping to fulfill its purposes in blessing people’s lives. This has allowed me to get involved and provide meaningful service in a lot of ways that I never would have otherwise found. The opportunity to work side by side with a diverse set of wonderful people has really enriched my life. I also am very grateful for the knowledge that God still speaks to a living prophet and to other inspired church leaders. He also can speak through inspiration to each of us as we seek to live in harmony with the gospel truths that have been restored to the earth. I pray for guidance and direction in my daily life. I am grateful for inspired standards which help me live my life with purpose and meaning.
