Hi I'm Daryl Embley

I'm an American Sign Language Missionary. I work as hard as I play, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a full time missionary for the church of jesus christ of latter day saints. I am serving in the oregon, portland mission and I love every minute of being able to serve others in their quest to come unto christ. My faith in Jesus Christ is the most important thing I have besides my family. I love to sing, cook, design and travel. Homemade mac and cheese is my favorite. I know that this gospel is true with all my heart. My family and I have traveled so much and have had the opportunity of living all across the united states and I know that this gospel is true because everywhere you go his gospel is the same, and the feeling you feel in his house will help you to feel that peace and joy that only comes through trusting in our Savior, Jesus Christ. I love this gospel so much. I know it, live it, I love it. And I'm a mormon

Why I am a Mormon

Do you ever wonder where you come from, or if there's life after this? Or where do we stand as a people in a world of ever changing values? How do we know where to turn? All of these questions are answers clearly in our church. There is no confusion, or doubt. We know that there is a way, and the only way is through the Savior Jesus Christ. I am a mormon because I believe that there is a living, current prophet on this earth today, like the bible times of Moses and Abraham. I know and believe that miracles do happen. The Book of Mormon is true, and Joseph Smith is and was a prophet of god. It's know true, and i know it will change and bless your life as it has mine. Because of this gospel, my life has a deeper meaning and a purpose to every single day. I have true happiness and joy in knowing that my family can be together forever, and that all things can be overcome through the savior, Jesus Christ and his atonement.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading the scriptures, attending the temple, serving others, and attending regular church meetings. I live my faith when I share my testimony, or fulfill my callings. I live my faith by serving a full time mission.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Daryl Embley
Our "Testimony" is our own personal conversion story on how we came to know for ourselves that this church is true. Some of this testimony comes from our own personal knowledge and circumstances that brought us to know that this church is true. Show more Show less
